The beautiful Tyntesfield house
The beautiful National Trust house, Tyntesfield, close to Bristol in the UK. An amazing building with so much rich history!
I have never been one for ferry travel, but Irish Ferries are running an awesome special that gives a free ticket to the UK theme park Alton Towers when you buy one at full price.

First time flying Emirates and have to say over all I was impressed;
- Food was better than British Airways and South African Airways
- In-flight entertainment was also better than British Airways and South African Airways
- Checkin/boarding was also easy
The negatives for me was the length of the flights (7hrs from Cape Town to Dubai and then 9hrs from Dubai to London) also Dubai airport was a big let down – in my opinion not a great airport! The last negative point for Emirates is that they only fly in and out of terminal 3 at Heathrow, which is nowhere near as good as the new terminal 5.

Exmouth Beach
Who says you cant have a nice sunny warm day at a UK beach – heres Exmouth beach on just such a day in the middle of August!
I post alot of images from Surfers Corner in Cape Town, there are two reasons; I live there and its really become home to me! I bodyboard there alot, I go there for coffee, to buy freshly baked breads take the dogs for walks.
Theres a certain something about it… at times the wind really blows hard and for weeks at a time, there are times when there are raging storms which bring torrential rains and gale force winds and then you have days where it can get up 40C and the beach is packed… but the best times are those early mornings when the sun rises and your in the water with your body/surf board there are a few guys out and perfect 3-4ft waves rolling in… sigh… I love surfers corner!
